Samsung's Galaxy Tab S2 slates (the thinnest tablets in the world) will be launched next month in Canada
Earlier today, Samsung announced that it would release the Galaxy Tab S2 8.0 and Galaxy Tab S2 9.7 on September 3 in the US, with all four major carriers getting ready to sell LTE variants of the slates (while Wi-Fi only models will be carrier independent). September is also when the new tablets are going to be launched in Canada, though this won't happen in the early days of the month.
Samsung will begin selling both the Galaxy Tab S2 8.0 and Galaxy Tab S2 9.7 on September 16 in Canada. Prices will start at 499.99 Canadian dollars (about $375 USD) for the Tab S2 8.0 Wi-Fi, and at 599.99 Canadian dollars (about $450 USD) for the Galaxy Tab S2 9.7 Wi-Fi. LTE variants will also be available - via Bell, Rogers, and Telus - for prices that haven't been disclosed. Pre-orders are accepted starting today, and if you're pre-ordering before September 15 you'll be able to buy any Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 book cover for 50% off.
