Samsung sold 20 million Galaxy S4 devices in just two months
In just 2 months since its launch, the Samsung Galaxy S4has sold over 20 million units. Samsung’s own chief executive JK Shin confirmed the figure to Korean media.

This makes the Galaxy S4 the fastest selling Android device. Within a month of its launched it had already gone past the 10 million mark. In comparison, the Samsung Galaxy S III took a 100 days to reach 20 million sales.

This report will obviously quiet down analysts who speculated that Samsung is having troubles selling as many Galaxy S4s as it would have liked. Those same analysts suggested that with the arrival of many S4 derivatives, Samsung might be watering down sales of its most profitable device, the flagship S4.

The Samsung Galaxy S4 launched internationally at the end of April and reached the 20 million sales milestone by the end of June. Interestingly, most of those sales have happened across the globe and in Korea the S4 sold half a million units.
