Samsung registers Tab S Pro name in Korea; 12-inch version of Galaxy Tab S slate coming?
Back in January, a changelist referring to Samsung's Milk Music app revealed that the manufacturer was working on a tablet called the Samsung Galaxy Tab S Pro. Since then, we have heard nothing about this slate. That is, until today when word leaked that Samsung had filed to register the Tab S Pro name in South Korea.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S Pro is expected to feature a Super AMOLED screen 12-inches or larger. A tablet so well endowed would be considered useful for both the business and educational markets. The latter is where Apple expects to sell its long-rumored 12.9-inch Apple iPad Pro.

In addition to the Galaxy Tab S Pro, we have reported about the expected sequels to the Galaxy Tab S line. Specifically, the 5.4mm thin Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 8.0 and the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 9.7. Once launched, these two models will become the thinnest tablets available. Earlier today, we passed along the latest rumors about pricing for the two tablets.

Thanks for the tip!
