Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 (SM-T530) and Tab 4 8.0 (SM-T330) visit the FCC
The FCC today approved two unannounced Samsung tablets: SM-T530 and SM-T330, both Wi-Fi-only. As previously reported, the SM-T530 should be launched as the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, while the SM-T330 is expected to be commercialized as the Galaxy Tab 4 8.0.
As almost always, the FCC documentation is scarce on details, but we can see sketches of both the SM-T530 and SM-T330. These are all but confirming that the former is a 10.1-inch tablet, while the latter is an 8-inch one. Although they're different in size, the Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 and Tab 4 8.0 reportedly share many of their features, including displays with a 1280 x 800 pixel resolution, Android 4.4 KitKat, quad-core 1.2GHz Snapdragon 400 processors, and 16GB of expandable internal memory.
A smaller Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 should join the 8-inch and 10.1-inch models in Samsung’s new family of tablets. It’s said that all three devices will be announced at MWC later this month, when we’re also expecting to see Samsung’s new Galaxy S5 flagship smartphone.
