Samsung Galaxy S5 in the UK receiving Android 5.0 Lollipop as we speak, available for download

Those denizens of certain European countries (Spain, Poland, and Russia) have already received the Android 5.0 Lollipop on their Samsung Galaxy S5 (SM-G900F) devices, of course, with TouchWiz on top. Samsung is certainly trying pretty hard to bring the software update as fast as possible to the users sporting its 2014 flagship.

Did we say Spain, Poland, and Russia? Well, feel free to add the UK to the equation, too! According to SamMobile, the rollout of Lollipop for the Galaxy S5 devices in the Albion has just begun. However, the build in question (G900FXXU1BOA3) is still based on the first official Android 5.0 base, (LRX21T), whereas the rest of Samsung's top-tier handsets that are slated to receive the update will reportedly receive firmware updates based on a newer Android build, i.e. Android 5.0.2 Lollipop (LRX22G)

We already told you how to update to the newest firmware, so if you are impatient to get the latest firmware update for your device, feel free to check out our handy guide on the matter. You can also head to the source link in order to get the build we are talking about.
