On Saturday, we showed you pictures taken by one of our loyal readers, allegedly revealing the Samsung Galaxy F. As we previously discussed, this is the "premium" version of the manufacturer's flagship Android smartphone, with major bumps in screen resolution, processing speed and the camera. With a 1440 x 2560 QHD resolution on its 5.3 inch screen, a quad-core Snapdragon 805 processor under the hood and a 16MP rear-facing snapper with OIS, many are saying that this is the phone that should have been released as the Samsung Galaxy S5.
What is forcing Samsung to press ahead with the Galaxy F is the LG G3 and the HTC One (M8). The LG G3 is coming to market with a QHD resolution on its 5.5 inch glass. And the HTC One (M8) has a fabulous build quality with its all aluminum body. Thus, Samsung is trying to counter its two biggest rivals in the high-end Android smartphone sector.
On Sunday, our source came back with a new picture taken outdoors to give us a better look at the phone, including the brushed metal rear cover. The latest speculation has the Samsung Galaxy F being released at the same time as the Apple iPhone 6, which should be this coming September.
