Yesterday,
we saw renders of the upcoming
Samsung Galaxy C5 in beautiful gold leak out in their full glory. The new Galaxy C line is expected to co-exist with the Galaxy A in the midrange segment, with the C having
slightly better hardware specs at
slightly higher price points. Another major difference we see between the A and the C families is that the latter has a full metal back, instead of slippery, fingerprint-attracting glass. We will see what else is special about the new devices and how Samsung plans to sell them without saturating the market with similar devices (again).
So, today, we get to see the C5 in three new colors – silver, grey, and... drum roll, please — pink gold! The beautiful handset you see below is said to rock a 5.2-inch, 1080x1920 Super AMOLED display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 SoC, the very generous 4 GB of RAM, 32 GB of storage, and 16 MP / 8 MP sensors on the main / selfie cameras respectively. Of course, it'll come with Android 6.0.1, skinned with Samsung's proprietary UI on top.
When are we going to get some official info on the Galaxy C5? Sources say that the big unveiling will happen tomorrow. So, the wait could be just about over!
