Samsung Galaxy A7 receives a Bluetooth certification, is its debut imminent?
Several versions of the second-gen Samsung Galaxy A7, which popped up in a couple of leaked images just a couple of days ago, have received their Bluetooth certifications with the Bluetooth SIG group just recently. The Galaxy A7 itself is listed as SM-A710F/DS, but four other variations of the handset have also been greenlit. In particular, these are the SM-A710L, SM-A710K, SM-A710X, and SM-A710S. We suppose that we are most likely dealing with different variations of the phone for different markets.
The Bluetooth certification, the numerous specs leaks, and the leaked images that showed us the front and the back of the phone are a dead giveaway for the imminent announcement of the handset.
What do we know so far? Judging from the surfaced info, the device will be a 5.5-inch Galaxy S6 look-alike that employs a similar metal-glass design and packs predominantly mid-range specs: a 1.5GHz Snapdragon 615 chipset, 3GB of RAM, 16GB of native storage, as well as a 13MP camera at the rear, aided by a 5MP one up front.
Who knows, the Galaxy A7 could also be imbued with a slew of premium features that are often found on higher-end Samsung devices, as it was reported earlier today. Does this mean that Samsung Pay will be available from the get-go? We are hopeful that the answer is "yes".
