Rear casing for Apple iPhone 6s Plus surfaces in a series of photographs revealing few changes
At the end of June, we passed along some images alleged to be the rear housing for the Apple iPhone 6s. The only changes discovered were new mounting points for the handset's motherboard. Today, images of the rear housing for the Apple iPhone 6s Plus have appeared, and again there are only small changes seen when compared to the inside of the housing on the current model.

One change noted with the housing for the iPhone 6s Plus, is a higher placement for the speaker's screw hole. This points to a whole new speaker module that will be employed on the model. Another change is in the actual material used to make the rear housing. The source of the pictures says that the housing for the iPhone 6s Plus is stronger. This should prevent the device from bending. You might recall the entire #bendgate controversy which started when some iPhone 6 Plus users found that the device had bent in their rear pocket.

Earlier reports stated that Apple will be using the same Series 7000 Aluminum used on the Apple Watch, to prevent the next iteration of iPhones from bending. This is aircraft grade aluminum that should hold up to just about anything encountered over the course of the handset's lifetime.

We have a series of photos that you can browse through merely by clicking on the sourcelink below. The snapshots allegedly show the casing for the Apple iPhone 6s Plus, although we suggest taking the story with a grain of salt.
