RIM: BlackBerry 10 devices with keyboards coming
Those long time BlackBerry users who started feeling a cold sweat when they noticedthe lack of a physical QWERTY keyboard on the BlackBerry 10 Alpha Developer's phone and on leaked photographs of the BlackBerry London, can now relax. During his keynote speech at BlackBerry World Conference, RIM Thorsten Heins said that some of the new innovations found in the OS, like better predictive software for word and even sentence formation, might be found in models produced down the road with physical keyboards.
A RIM spokesman at the event told PhoneScoop that RIM is not giving up on producing phones with a physical QWERTY keyboard. And while early BlackBerry 10 models will feature a virtual QWERTY keyboard, eventually RIM hopes to have both a virtual and a physical QWERTY keyboard on its BlackBerry 10 phones.
