Qualcomm “Shoulda got a Snapdragon” promo rap video is the weirdest relationship advice you’d get
Qualcomm’s Snapdragon chip is already one of the most proliferate pieces of silicon on mobile devices - virtually all new 4G LTE smartphones feature the Snapdragon S4 and Windows Phones so far have all run exclusively on Snapdragon. And no wonder with Qualcomm taking the lead in 28nm manufacturing technology and an all-in-one system-on-a-chip solution integrating everything from processors to graphics and LTE radios.

But you already knew those technicalities didn’t you? And that’s not what Qualcomm focuses on this latest promo that can be described with only one word - epic.

It really is. Got a problem with your girlfriend? “Shoulda got a Snapdragon.” Got bad battery life? “Shoulda shoulda got a Snapdragon.” Can’t hear your callers well? “You need better noise protection, son.”

If you guessed that Qualcomm did a rap video about its chip, well, first you’re bolder in your guesses than us and second, you’re right. The chip maker teams up with a San Diego rap duo which made a surprisingly catchy, weird, fun tune “Shoulda got a Snapdragon.”

After you hear this song we guess you’d either cry out of despair or laugh. We suggest laughing. But really, has Qualcomm just done the unthinkable and made chip advertizing fun?
