Quad-core HTC One X CM9 stock ICS ROM ironed out, only Wi-Fi hotspot not working
Those of you who don't like the efforts of HTC with the latest Sense 4.0 interface, can try on the CM9 ROM, which is out there for the quad-core HTC One X, and most of its kinks are ironed out by now.
The CyanogenMod ROM disposes of the streamlined yet still fairly complex Sense 4.0 UI, and will bring stock Android Ice Cream Sandwich to your HTC One X, with a few other tweaks for better performance.
The ROM got several iterations since it was published, and now only the Wi-Fi hotspot function is acting up, but as usually is the case with these ROM mods for a popular handset, this should be remedied down the road.
So if you happen to own the quad-core HTC One X with Tegra 3, and don't mind some rooting and flashing, head over to the source link for a vanilla Android ICS experience.
