Quad HD wallpapers for HTC One M9 Plus leak out, get them all here
Expected to be officially announced on April 8, the long-rumored HTC One M9 Plus (or M9+) will probably become HTC's first smartphone to sport a Quad HD (1440 x 2560 pixels) display.
While the handset - initially known as HTC Hima Ultra - will be announced in China, HTC ROM developer @LlabTooFeR reports that it's going to be released not just in Asia, but also in Europe. In addition to this piece of info, @LlabTooFeR posted no less than 16 wallpapers that should come pre-installed on the One M9 Plus. These are all 2880 x 2560 pixel images, so they're scrollable wallpapers. You can get them all from the slideshow below (zoom in, right click, and Save as).
It's said that the One M9 Plus will be powered by an octa-core MediaTek processor, although a Snapdragon 810 variant might also exist. Android 5.0 Lollipop with Sense 7 UI will definitely be on board.
We also keep hearing about an HTC One E9. This, too, is supposed to sport a Quad HD display, though maybe the M9 Plus and the E9 are one and the same device. We'll find out if that's the case on April 8.
