Probable pricing and release date for the Samsung Galaxy A8 pop up: it's coming soon!
Recently, there's been a hefty surplus of news, rumors, and leaks regarding Samsung's upcoming catwalk star, the Galaxy A8, which is poised to become its thinnest smartphone ever. Although still not official, the phone has starred in numerous hands-on photos and even a video, all treating us to its sleek 5.94mm metal silhouette.

We already know how it looks, we also have a pretty good grasp of its specs, and now one of the last pieces of the puzzle has just popped up - the price and release date of the A8. According to certain sources, the Galaxy A8 will become official on July 17 and will be immediately available in China.

According to the rumors, the device will cost the equivalent of 439 EUR (roughly $483). Unfortunately, there is only speculation as to whether the Galaxy A8 will arrive on other markets across the world.

It is now seemingly confirmed that the device will indeed come with a 5.7-inch display and not a 5.5-inch one. As one can easily guess, we are dealing with a Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. Powering the device is an octa-core Snapdragon 615 chipset, paired with 2GB of RAM. A 16MP camera can be found at the back, while a 5MP one is taking care of selfies. There's also a 3,050mAh battery to keep the lights on, as well as 16GB of on-board storage, complemented by a microSD card slot. Android 5.1.1 is powering the device; a fingerprint scanner is also on board.

So, the Galaxy A8 - yay or nay?
