Pre-orders for those who didn't fund Pebble Time start June 22nd
Smartwatch manufacturer Pebble announced today that it will start accepting pre-orders on June 22nd from those who did not help fund its new timepiece on Kickstarter. Pebble Time, with its colorful e-paper display and enhanced app storage, raised more than $20 million from 78,000 backers on the crowdfunding site. Watches for those who funded production of Pebble's greatest and latest intelligent timepiece will start shipping this week.
Besides the color display and the ability to store as many apps as will fit (instead of eight apps which was the limit on the OG Pebble), new features include an app that allows you to record your voice to take notes, a stocks app, a weather app, and more support for foreign languages like Chinese, French, German, and Spanish. Pebble also says that a future update will bring Gmail notifications for iOS users.

Apps that will be available for Pebble Time include Transport, powered by Uber, an updated ESPN app, iHeart Radio and TripAdvisor. Also, the Weather Channel is now behind two daily weather pins with one at sunrise, and the other at sunset. You can see this feature in action by clicking on the video below.
