PowerPoint presentation leaks revealing specs for the Xiaomi Mi Note 2
We've seen a number of leaks, benchmark tests and rumors related to the Xiaomi Mi Note 2. Today, we have leaked PowerPoint slides that allegedly give away the specs of the upcoming phablet. Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun says that the unit is in mass production, and we expect the device to be unveiled on October 25th.
The slides show that the Mi Note 2 will come with a 5.7-inch Super AMOLED display with Force Touch, carrying a 1440 x 2560 resolution. The Snapdragon 821 chipset is under the hood with a quad-core CPU and the Adreno 530 GPU. One version comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. Another variant features 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. A dual camera setup is on back with a 23MP camera (Sony IMX318 sensor) and a 12MP camera (Sony IMX378 sensor). An 8MP front-facing camera is available for selfies and to handle video chats.

Qualcomm's ultrasonic fingerprint scanner is embedded under the display, and a 4100mAh battery keeps the lights on. Quick Charge capabilities allow the cell to charge rapidly, and an iris scanner offers another way to unlock the device. With NFC enabled, the handset will support Mi Pay. The version with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage is priced at the equivalent of $415 USD. The model with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage will cost the equivalent of $445 USD.
