Oppo's stylish Mirror 5s Android smartphone is officially coming soon

Not long ago, we heard that Oppo was about to introduce a brand new Android smartphone called Mirror 5s. Well, now Oppo is confirming the existence of the handset, as well as its name, though it's not clear exactly when the company intends to release it.

If previous rumors are to be believed, the Oppo Mirror 5s could be launched on July 5. For the beginning, the handset should be sold in Taiwan (as Oppo Taiwan confirmed its upcoming release), and probably in various other Asian markets. Since Oppo is selling some of its smartphones internationally, the Mirror 5s could also be available globally.

The Mirror 5s has an interesting rear cover, resembling the Oppo R1x in this regard. Oppo didn't confirm any of the features of the Mirror 5s, but it's said that the handset is a mid-range one with a 5-inch 720p display, a quad-core processor (likely a Snapdragon 410), a 5 MP front-facing camera, and an 8 MP rear camera. The smartphone should also come with dual SIM capabilities, 2 GB of RAM, 16 GB of expandable storage space, a 2420 mAh battery, and Android 5.1 Lollipop with Oppo's Color UI on top.
