Oppo teases the goodies on the rear camera for the Oppo R7
Next week, we should see the Oppo R7 and Oppo R7 Plus unveiled. Today, the manufacturer started teasing the 13MP rear camera on the R7, which will include a phase detection focusing technology that brings the photographer's subject into focus faster than you can say "cool." The actual focusing time is as quick as .1 second. Besides this feature, the camera will also offer a quick start-up time, stabilizing for both stills and videos, and a trio of modes that can be used to enhance photographs. Those three settings include ultra-clear, slow shutter and double exposure.
The Oppo R7 will come with a 5-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 1080 x 1920.That works out to a 441ppi pixel density. The 64-bit Snapdragon 615 SoC drives the phone and includes an octa-core CPU. The Adreno 405 GPU handles graphics. 2 or 3GB of RAM is inside along with 16GB of native storage. The front-facing camera will weigh in at 8MP, allowing for high-quality selfies.
The Oppo R7 Plus will have a 5.9-inch screen with the same FHD resolution, and replaces the Snapdragon 615 chip set with the 64-bit MediaTek MT6795 SoC, which also includes an octa-core CPU. 3GB of RAM is inside. An 8MP camera is on back.
