OnePlus 3 smiles for the camera in new treasure trove of photos
Some new images of the OnePlus 3 have been discovered. The device should have a 5.5-inch AMOLED screen with a 1080 x 1920 resolution. The Snapdragon 820 SoC is under the hood with a quad-core 2.15 CPU and the Adreno 530 GPU. You can choose from 4GB or 6GB of RAM, along with 32GB/64GB/128GB of native storage. A 16MP snapper is on back with an 8MP front-facing camera handling selfies and video chats. A fingerprint scanner is embedded in the home button, a Type-C port is on the bottom of the phone, and a 3450mAh battery keeps the lights on. Android 6.0.1 is pre-installed.

The latest buzz about the cost of the phone has the 4GB model with 32GB of storage getting priced at $305 USD. If true, the OnePlus 3 might offer the best value in the high-end of the smartphone market.

The OnePlus 3 will be unveiled on June 14th starting at 12:30pm Eastern Time. Once again, OnePlus will be using VR to introduce its new phone. And for the first time in history, viewers will be able to visit a VR shopping mall to make a purchase. The new "flagship killer" will be available for consumers to buy while "inside" the Loop VR space station from 12:30pm to 3pm. Once the clock strikes 3, the handset will be available from the OnePlus website.
