OnePlus 2 listed on Oppomart with a 5.7-inch QHD screen, SD-810 SoC, 16MP Sony camera
The OnePlus 2will be unveiled on July 27th through a Virtual Reality presentation. OnePlus has sent out a large number of Google Cardboard headsets to those who requested one. All that OnePlus asked for was $5 for shipping. The company has been teasing a laundry list of new features for the eagerly awaited follow-up, and some of those specs have now been contradicted on the Oppomart website where the OnePlus 2 is now listed.

According to the Oppomart listing, the OnePlus 2 will feature a 5.7-inch screen with a 1440 x 2560 resolution. That works out to a 515ppi pixel density. A 64-bit Snapdragon 810 will be driving the sequel, carrying an octa-core CPU and the Adreno 430 GPU. 3GB of LPDDR3 RAM is listed as being inside despite a teaser released by OnePlus that says the OnePlus 2 has one more GB of RAM than the OnePlus One. Considering that the latter comes with 3GB of RAM, you would expect that there would be 4GB of the sweet stuff on the OnePlus 2.

A 16MP Sony Exmor IMX 234 camera is in the back, with a 5MP front-facing camera snapping selfies and handling video chats. A 3300mAh battery keeps the lights on and OxygenOS, based on Android 5.0, is pre-installed. Pictures allegedly taken using the camera on the OnePlus 2, reportedly reveal it to be a 13MP camera with an aperture of f/2.0.

There are a few things that could account for the contradicting specs. One is the possibility that there will be different versions of the phone. Like the OnePlus One, we should see both a 16GB variant and one carrying 64GB of native storage. There also could be a premium version of the handset. Oppo has the phone priced at $499, although it doesn't specify the amount of internal storage that comes with the phone at that price.

Another possibility is that this listing is nothing more than a placeholder with the real specs and pricing to be listed after the July 27th event.
