Nexus 4 owners, rejoice, as the over-the-air Android 4.4 KitKat is hitting your handsets as we speak, about three weeks after Google promised that the KitKat update for its 2012 value-for-money king is "coming soon".

Soon it is indeed, and the update will bring the new launcher, which is actually the improved Google Search app, a lot of changes under the hood to accommodate low-end devices, which won't concern you as your Nexus 4 is still in the midrange category, as well as a number of other improvements you can read about in our Android 4.4 KitKat new features roundup.

The KRT16S update is about 240 MB, and a small one might follow after that that will be ironing out any additional bugs left.
