New alleged Huawei Mate 8 photo reveals a thin, metallic design
Later this month, Huawei will (most likely) announce a new premium smartphone called Mate 8. We've already seen an image allegedly showing the upcoming device, but a protective case didn't really allow us to take a good look at it. Fortunately, there's now a new photo that seems to be revealing the back of the Mate 8 in its entirety.

If what we're seeing below is indeed the Huawei Mate 8, the handset clearly has a round fingerprint scanner below its rear camera - just like the Google Nexus 6P (which, as you may know, is manufactured by Huawei).

We can also spot a microUSB port at the bottom of the device, plus what seem to be dual speakers flanking the port. Overall, the smartphone appears to be pretty thin.

Just like the Mate7 that was released last year, the Mate 8 is expected to be a very large device that sports a 6-inch display with 1080 x 1920 pixels. Other features could include an octa-core Kirin 950 processor, 16 MP or 13 MP rear camera, 8 MP front-facing camera, and a generous battery with fast charging capabilities. The Mate 8 might have two variants: one with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage space, and a more expensive one with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage space.

We're expecting Huawei to officially unveil the Mate 8 on November 26. Interested?
