New Xiaomi Mi3S with Android KitKat and Snapdragon 801 processor shows up
Xiaomi’s next-generation flagship smartphone, the Mi3S, should be released in the near future as the successor to the company’s Mi3 from last year. While we don’t know exactly when the handset will be available, someone in China already had the chance to check it out - and that’s how we can take a look at it for the very first time.
The new Mi3S has rounded corners, unlike the older Mi3. We previously reported that the smartphone would feature a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor (2.5GHz), and one of the photos showing the device seems to confirm this. The Mi3S runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat (with Xiaomi’s own MIUI customization), while also featuring 3GB of RAM, 16GB of internal memory, and (probably) a 5-inch 1080p display. A 13MP camera should be on the back of the handset.

Xiaomi recently launched a new Mi.com website to promote its products internationally, and we’ll probably see the Mi3S there at some point. Prices for the new smartphone could start at around $320 - which means it will be cheaper than most of today's flagship handsets.
