New Samsung Galaxy Note 7 images leak out alongside price and dimensions
As almost always in recent years, leaked photos and information seem to be spoiling the fun for Samsung (and plenty of other companies) before various major announcements. Case in point: Samsung is all set to officially announce the Galaxy Note 7 next week, on August 2, but we already know quite a lot about the new device.
Earlier today, we had the chance to see a 360-degree image allegedly showing the Note 7, and now French website Nowhereelse has plenty of other leaked renders (in high-resolution, no less), plus details on the dimensions, weight, and price of the upcoming handset.
Reportedly, the Galaxy Note 7 measures 153.5 x 73.9 x 7.9 mm, and weighs 168 grams - so it's nearly as large as the Galaxy Note 5, though it's slightly narrower (likely thanks to its dual-curve screen). The new smartphone should become the first Galaxy Note to be dust- and water-resistant (IP68-certified), as well as the first to feature an iris scanner.
Presumably, what you're seeing below is the real deal, though we must keep in mind that nothing is official until Samsung finally announces the devices, so we can't be certain that these are indeed the Galaxy Note 7 and the new Gear VR headset.

Nowhereelse has it that the Galaxy Note 7 will cost around €850 in France (in line with previous rumors), which means it could be sold for around $800-$850 in the US. A next-gen Samsung Gear VR headset is expected to debut alongside the Note 7, and you can check it out below, after the renders that reportedly show the new Note (in three colors: blue, silver, and black).
