New LG built Windows Phone coming to Verizon on May 21st?
Last month, we passed along rumors about a new LG built Windows Phone that was expected to be heading to Verizon. The LG-VW820 is apparently the LG Lancet. Today, one of our loyal readers was able to send us some information pertaining to the first new Windows Phone model for Big Red this year. According to what appears to be an internal memo regarding the phone, it will launch on May 21st.
Based on previously leaked information, the LG Lancet is expected to feature a 4.5-inch LCD display with a resolution of 480 x 854. A 1.2GHz Snapdragon 410 CPU is under the hood. There is 8GB of native storage, of which 4GB is available to the user. There is a microSD slot available in the likely event additional storage is needed. An 8MP camera is on back while a .3MP shooter adorns the front of the unit. A 2100mAh battery powers the phone, which has Windows Phone 8.1 Update 2 pre-installed. Cortana comes with the handset out of the box.

Some of the LG features included with the Lancet include Knock On, which wakes the phone with a double tap. Selfies can be snapped with a wave of the hand and Soft Light gently illuminates those self portraits. Pricing has not yet been revealed.
