Mysterious Samsung SM-G910S certified, could be Galaxy Round, Note 3 with flexible display, or both
The Samsung Galaxy Round flexible display phone might indeed be announced as early as this week, as after the USPTO trademark grant for the Round name, now we are getting a mysterious Samsung SM-G910S getting its certification chops in Korea.
Given that the Galaxy Round is speculated to be announced in Samsung's homeland first, in limited batches, the unorthodox codename might indeed hint at an imminent unveiling of the world's first handset with flexible OLED display. Alternatively, the Round moniker might go towards the Note 3 version with flexible display we've been hearing about, as the certification mimics the phablet's specs.
LG might have announced a 6" bendy panel first yesterday, but its G Flex handset with it is not expected until next month, so all eyes are on Samsung this week. It showed a 5.7" Full HD AMOLED with plastic substrate yesterday, so that's what we are expecting to go into the Galaxy Round, alongside top shelf specs and an S Pen stylus.
