Motorola introduces "new look" ICS RAZR and RAZR MAXX in official video
If you snapped up a Droid RAZR or RAZR MAXX – and some of you must have, since RAZR MAXX sales beat out the iPhone 4S on Verizon last quarter – then you are no doubt excited by the news that today is the day that your handset finally gets its serving of Ice Cream Sandwich. While enthusiasts will be thrilled, there are also thousands of users for whom the update will be unexpected, and may even prove confusing at first, given the large number of changes to apps and the appearance of Motoblur.
To help pump up the excitement and tone down the confusion, Motorola has released a promotional video showing off many of the new features coming with Android 4.0, while also providing resources to help users that aren’t quite sure what to make of their operating system suddenly changing so drastically. And if you’re considering purchasing one of the Droid RAZRs as your next device, the video also acts as something of an advertisement.
