Motorola DROID Turbo to have a massive 3900 mAh battery
Yesterday, we showed you a leaked User Guide for the unannounced Motorola DROID Turbo, mentioning that the handset’s battery could be fully charged in 3 hours. And while that’s not quite fast when we talk about regular smartphone batteries, it may be impressive in the case of the DROID Turbo.
As it turns out, the new Motorola DROID could have a 3900 mAh battery. The handset’s battery allegedly showed up somewhere in China, and that’s how we can see its capacity. Of course, we can’t be 100% sure that this is indeed the DROID Turbo’s battery, though we must mention that its model number (EQ40, as seen below) has been confirmed when the smartphone was approved by the FCC.
Giant battery aside, the Motorola DROID Turbo should feature a 5.2-inch display with 1440 x 2560 pixels, a 21 MP rear camera, 3 GB of RAM, and a quad-core 2.7 GHz Snapdragon 805 processor. Like all DROID models, the Turbo will be exclusively available at Verizon Wireless.
According to Droid-life, the Motorola DROID Turbo could be officially announced on October 28, or October 29. We’ll see then how much of the info presented above is correct.
