Moto G with memory card slot and 4G LTE radio is unveiled, starting at $219

Alongside the low-end Moto E, Motorola finally made good on its promise to out a 4G LTE version of the Moto G blockbuster. You are getting the same specs - a 4.5" 720p display, Snapdragon 400 processor, 1 GB of RAM, and a 5 MP rear camera, but, besides the LTE radio, the phone has been upgraded in one very important count - the expandable storage. Yep, we are now having a Moto G with a microSD slot, so you can add up to 32 GB more memory to the 8 GB/16 GB that you get out of the box.

It's not clear yet exactly how many bands the Moto G LTE will cover, but Motorola says it will be available soon on carriers in more than 40 countries worldwide. Thus, we'd wager to guess the LTE band selection will be rather wide, in the best traditions of Qualcomm's new multiband LTE modems that also sport a rather minimal battery consumption, which is important for a 4G handset.

How much will it cost? Not that much, actually, given the important upgrades in specs - the Moto G LTE will go for $219 without a contract and carrier subsidies, which will likely translate to a tad over 200 Euros when the phone hits shelves in the Old Continent. The current, 4G-less Moto G will continue to sell for $179 on Motorola's website.
