More images of Nokia Lumia 929 aka Icon appear online
The Verizon-bound Nokia Lumia 929 is a phone we've been hearing rumors about for months. Yet to this date, neither Nokia nor Verizon have made the handset official, and Microsoft's purchase of Nokia could be to blame for that. This, however, doesn't seem to be bothering some accessory makers.

Here's Incipio, for example – one can grab a case for this to-be-announced smartphone straight from the company's online store. The images posted there once again reveal what the Nokia Lumia 929 will look like. Also, their presence leads us to believe that the phone is coming sooner than later.

It is worth mentioning that at the Incipio store, the phone is being referred to as the Nokia Lumia Icon. This is a moniker we're not hearing for the first time. Several weeks ago, a trustworthy source stated that the phone could launch under the Icon brand name. That, if true, would definitely raise some eyebrows since Nokia's Lumia phones have always had a number attached to them. Either way, the Nokia Lumia 929 aka Icon is likely to be announced in the coming weeks, with January 16 allegedly being penciled as its launch date.
