Microsoft compares Nokia Lumia 521 to Samsung Galaxy S4 in promotional video
After watching the video below, you might be wondering if the success of the Nokia Lumia 521 has made Microsoft a little too...brazen? Sure, the device sold out on HSN, at Walmart and on T-Mobile's pre-paid service. But putting the entry-level Windows Phone model against the Samsung Galaxy S4 juggernaut is about as fair as putting the Miami Heat up against the Orlando Magic. Yet, Ben Rudolph is on this new Microsoft video crowing about the fact that he spent $149 off-contract for the Nokia Lumia 521 and $750 off-contract for the latest Android flagship model.
Yes, the difference is about $600 which can be spent, as the video suggests, by going to the Microsoft Store and buying a three month Xbox Music pass for $30, a 16GB microSD card for $20, a pair of Monster Purity earbuds for $100, and an ASUS VivoBook X202E laptop priced at $450. But the problem is that even with all of those extra goodies, at the end of the day, you'll still be sporting an entry-level phone instead of the beast that is the Samsung Galaxy S4.
