The conditions of the deal/s may have changed since the initial publishing of this post.
For a limited time only, the Microsoft Store is offering a $49.99 discount on the Microsoft Lumia 950. This is the manufacturer's Windows 10 Mobile flagship. With the price cut, the handset is priced at $549. Considering that the unlocked version of the phone is out of stock, AT&T subscribers might be catching a lucky break with this sale.
Considering that the discounted price is good for a limited time (which has not been disclosed), if you have the Lumia 950 in your crosshairs, you might want to pull the trigger on the purchase now. In addition, there is no telling how long the inventory of the phone will last for. The Lumia 950 is one of three Windows Phone handsets running Windows 10 Mobile out of the box. The other two are the Microsoft Lumia 950 XL and the Microsoft Lumia 550. Older models running Windows Phone 8.1 won't be updated until early next year.
The Lumia 950 features a 5.2-inch screen with a 1440 x 2560 resolution. That works out to a 565ppi pixel density. The Snapdragon 808 chipset is under the hood, carrying a hexa-core 1.8GHz SoC and the Adreno 418 GPU. 3GB of RAM is inside, along with 32GB of native storage. Those requiring additional memory can access the 200GB capacity microSD slot.
The 20MP rear-facing camera has an aperture of f/1.9, and carries OIS. The front-facing camera weighs in at 5MP. A 3000mAh battery keeps the lights on, and Qi wireless charging capabilities are baked in to the handset. With a USB-Type C port, data transfers can be done quickly, and rapid charging is supported.
There is one last, but important thing that we need to mention. In order to get the $49.99 discount, you need to be willing to pay the full retail price of the phone sans a signed contract. If interested in the sale, click on the sourcelink.
