Logo on Apple iPhone 6 not expected to double as notification light after all
Last month, we passed along a rumor that the Apple logo on the back of the Apple iPhone 6, would light up as a notification light. One variation of this rumor has the apple lighting up in different colors, with each shade representing a particular type of message. As cool as that might look, it would appear that the Apple logo on the back of the iPhone 6 will not glow, light up, or do anything outside of just sitting on the back of the iPhone.
So where is the proof that the Apple logo on the back of the iPhone 6 isn't anything more than a logo design? A picture out of Taiwan shows a number of Apple logos in a tray, supposedly getting ready to be affixed to the iPhone 6. There are no signs that the logo is designed to light up.
The 4.7 inch Apple iPhone 6 is expected to be unveiled on September 9th during a special Apple event. The actual launch could take place the following month.
Thanks for the tip!
