Lightning EarPods and 3.5mm adapter to come with the iPhone 7, wireless AirPods will be extra
Just as our poll respondents wished and predicted, Apple will be including new EarPods with a Lightning connector at the end in each iPhone 7 and 7 Plus box, negating the pain from removing the audio jack that most phones are currently using.

To further sooth out your sadness, and to ensure the compatibility of the iPhone 7 with your current audio gear, Apple will be throwing an 3.5mm-jack-to-Lightning adapter in the phones' box for free, too.

If you don't want to be tangled by wires, Apple has created brand new AirPods, truly wireless earbuds that go into each ear without any connection between them. These provide 5 hours of battery, which is more than most other such products on the market, and a carrying case that can charge them up to five times on the go. In addition, new Beats Bluetooth headphones enter the fray, with models offering up to 40 hours of listening on a charge, sweet.
