Leaked Microsoft Lumia 850 renders show a thin, metallic Windows 10 smartphone that might be coming soon
Months before Microsoft announced the Lumia 950 XL, Lumia 950, and Lumia 550 as its first Windows 10 smartphones, we heard that the company was also working on a Lumia 750 and a Lumia 850. Since the 750 and 850 weren't unveiled at the same time with the 950 XL, 950, and 550, some believed that they may have been cancelled. However, according to @OnLeaks, the Lumia 850 is still part of Microsoft's plans.

Interestingly, it's said that the Lumia 850 is built around a metal frame, and measures 155.9 x 77.23 x 6.92, thus becoming the thinnest Lumia smartphone to date. Assuming that these dimensions are correct, the 850 will be slightly larger than the Lumia 950 XL, which sports a 5.7-inch display and measures 151.9 x 78.4 x 8.1 mm. This means that the handset certainly doesn't have a 5-inch screen, as previously rumored, but a much larger one.

@OnLeaks revealed some renders of the Microsoft Lumia 850 (seen below), saying that they're based on industrial sketches received from a trusted source. Obviously, for now we can't know if this is indeed what the upcoming smartphone will look like. Hopefully, Microsoft will soon shed some light on this.
