LG expects to sell 12 million G4 smartphones
Last month, we told you that LG was expecting to sell 10 million G4 smartphones around the world. Now that the handset is finally official, LG is reportedly more optimistic when it comes to sales numbers. According to Korean website Yonhap News, the company believes it can sell 12 million G4s globally. Since the G3 was sold in about 10 million units, LG clearly expects the new flagship to be more successful than its predecessor.
While the G4 has a 5.5-inch Quad HD display (like the G3), this is an improved, slightly curved screen that offers increased brightness and color accuracy. That aside, the new LG flagship features a six-core, 64-bit Snapdragon 808 processor, a 16 MP rear camera with f/1.8 aperture, 8 MP front-facing camera, 3 GB of RAM, 32 GB of expandable internal memory, and a 3000 mAh battery. The G4 has multiple variants, including some with genuine leather rear covers.

While it's hard to say if the G4 can indeed be more successful than the G3, we assume the new handset will perform well when it comes to sales anyway. But we'll see about that after the device is released around the world. Meanwhile, here's our LG G4 hands-on, and here's all you need to know about the smartphone.
