LG G4 unboxing pictures leak out hours before announcement
A series of photos depicting the LG G4 in its retail box have popped up hours before announcement, showing both the plastic back and leather back models. This seems to be the Korean version of the handset, judging from the two batteries in the box, and the LTE Advanced logo on the back, but you can still get a pretty glimpse how the phone will look like when it gets revealed later today, and what will go in the box.
Besides the phone, the LG Quad Beat headphones can be seen as well, and hopefully these will be included with each and every version of the handset, not only with the leather-clad ones.
The LG G4 should have a 5.5" screen with resolution of 1440 x 2560, a 64-bit Snapdragon 808 chipset, 3 GB of RAM would be on board, and there will be a microSD slot on the unit for those who need expandable storage. Back and front-facing cameras have been confirmed by LG as weighing in at 16MP (with an aperture of f/1.8) and 8 MP, respectively. A 3000mAh battery powers the whole device, and the LG flagship should come with Android 5.0, painted over with the latest LG UX 4.0 overlay.
