LG G4 White Gold Edition launches in Korea: new look, old internals
LG just announced a new variant of its G4 Android smartphone, dubbed G4 White Gold Edition. Available to buy in South Korea starting today, the LG G4 White Gold Edition is targeting "women and young customers", and, as its name suggests, it's dressed in white and gold (gold - the color, not the precious metal). More exactly, the phone's sides are painted in gold, while the front and back are white.

The back cover of the G4 White Gold Edition is a simple, matte one, contrasting with the leather and textured plastic covers that older G4 models are offering.

New looks aside, the G4 White Gold Edition is not different from the previous versions of the device. It's got the same 5.5-inch Quad HD screen, the same hexa-core Snapdragon 808 processor, 16 MP rear camera, 32 GB of expandable internal memory, and so on. The handset runs Android Lollipop, but it will be updated to Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

In South Korea, the LG G4 White Gold Edition costs around $600 (unlocked). LG didn't say if it's planning to release this version of the handset in other markets. Would you buy one?
