LG G Watch website reveals champagne gold version, Android Wear features and more
Last month, LG teased its LG G Watch by revealing a picture of the wearable, in black. Now, the Korean manufacturer has teased the smartwatch with another photo, but this time the timepiece is decked out in champagne gold. The outer part of the watch's face is gold, the face of the LG G Watch remains black, and the band is white.

LG has said that the smartwatch would be released sometime during the current quarter. It is expected to feature a 1.65 inch screen and 4GB of internal memory. The smartwatch will be the first stuffed with the new Android Wear, which is a version of the platform for wearables. Based on LG's website for the product, it appears that the "always on" LG G Watch screen will offer a Google Search application and present "useful information when you need it the most." The device will be water and dust resistant.

Earlier this month, we passed along a rumor that the LG G Watch would be launched in the U.K. next month. The price would be under £180 ($302 USD). If a July launch in the U.K. is in the cards for the LG G Watch, we should soon be hearing about an event from LG during which the watch will be thoroughly introduced to the public. At that time, we should have an idea when to expect the smartwatch to be launched in other areas of the world.
