LG G Pad 8.3 with LTE for Verizon appears at the FCC
It is believed that Verizon will launch its own LTE-capable variant of the the LG G Pad 8.3, and the latest evidence we have come across renders these rumors even more credible. On Thursday, January 23, a mysterious LG tablet with a model name VK810 cleared the FCC with support for Big Red's 4G service running on bands 4 and 13. Furthermore, the physical dimensions of the device match those of the LG G Pad 8.3, which is why we're pretty confident that we're indeed looking at a Verizon-compatible model of the company's tablet.

To no surprise, the LG VK810 also supports GPS, Bluetooth LE, and Wi-Fi a/b/g/n connectivity. Yet the FCC filing reveals no further details regarding the hardware specs of the device. But if our intuition is to be trusted, we're likely to see a Snapdragon 600 SoC, 2GB of RAM, 8.3-inch display, and a 4600mAh battery listed on its specs sheet. To learn more about it, check out our LG G Pad 8.3 tablet review.
