Just days before the expected unveiling, official Samsung Galaxy C5 images surface
Just the other day, we told you that the Samsung Galaxy C5 had been certified by the FCC. That came after the phone had been cleared by China's TENAA regulatory agency. The phone is expected to be unveiled in two days, May 26th, during a special event in China. Today a number of official images of the phone were published on a German website, matching the images of the device we had seen previously.
Based on the TENAA documentation and previous leaks, the Samsung Galaxy C5 will feature a 5.2-inch Super AMOLED display with a 1080 x 1920 resolution. The Snapdragon 617 chipset will power the phone with an octa-core 1.5GHz CPU and the Adreno 405 GPU. 4GB of RAM will be inside along with 32GB of native storage. A 16MP camera adorns the back of the unit, while an 8MP front-facing shooter takes selfies and handles video chat. A 2600mAh battery keeps the lights on and Android 6.0.1 is pre-installed.
