Apple’s iPhone 5s remains the world’s best selling smartphone, and while all eyes are already on the upcoming iPhone 6 that is said to arrive in two sizes - a 4.7” model, and a larger, phablet-sized 5.5” model, some of you might still be wondering about what is inside the current 5s.
This gorgeous gif animation by Seth Eckert shows how the iPhone 5s is assembled, and seeing how all the pieces fit together is kind of mesmerizing. It's a vector animation designed and animated from the ground-up by Eckert (you can see more of his works at the source link right below), and he's also got animations showing the construction of Apple's A7 chip and another one, illustrating the iPhone construction from a different point of view.
And just watching all the little parts fly into the compact body of the iPhone 5s makes you appreciate that little engineering wonder that our smartphones are, doesn’t it?
