Huawei P10 leaks out in press renders with curved display, front fingerprint sensor
Huawei's flagship smartphone, the P10 is just one month away, but for those of you who don't might getting some info before the big announcement, we have some good news.
A couple of new press renders of the smartphone have just appeared in China, so we can get a clear look at what's to come. First of all, we have two pictures of the P10's front side, and another one showing the phone's back side.
If the photos are the real deal, then they prove Huawei has decided to relocate the fingerprint sensor on the front side, most likely under the physical Home button.
The back side features the impressive dual-camera setup with Leica lens, which was introduced with the predecessor P9 flagship. There's also a dual-LED flash next to the cameras, as well as a laser autofocus.
Huawei P10 is expected to boast a 5.5-inch dual-edge curved display that supports Quad HD (2560 x 1440 pixels) resolution. Design-wise, the P10 strongly resembles the previous P9 model, aside from that fact that it lacks the fingerprint sensor on the back.
One of the many things that hasn't been clarified yet is whether or not the Chinese company will launch two P10 models, since we've been hearing rumors about a certain P10 Plus.
