High-res HTC One E9+ renders leak out, show the device in its full glory
By now, it's become obvious that HTC is planning on releasing not one, but up to 4 fairly similar high-end devices to the market. We've got the One M9, of course, but also recurrent rumors and leaks relevant to still unreleased devices such as One M9+, One E9, and One E9+. As far as we can tell, HTC is keeping true to its previous branding efforts (One M8/E8), and the One E9 devices will be slightly less premium and skip on metal for their builds completely, or at least partially. This much seems likely, judging by the latest high-res renders of the One E9+ that we got our hands on just now.
As you can see for yourself below, the renders match what we've already seen in terms of spy shots of prototype devices. Once again, we're looking at an HTC One M9-like device, but with a circular camera cutout, and one that is housed on the very top of the back shell, giving the device a rather peculiar look.
As for the supposed internals HTC packed within the One E9+, word on street is that we should expect a 5.5-inch display with a pixel-dense, 1440 x 2560 resolution, powered by an octa-core MediaTek MT6795 processor and 3GB of RAM. There should be 32GB of storage on board, and the E9+ will apparently make use of a 20-megapixel main camera and either a 13-megapixel unit, or an UltraPixel (4MP) cam for the front.
HTC is expected to announce the One E9+ in China any moment now.
