The latest from the world of Windows 8 tablets is that Acer is working on a high-end model that will be introduced next month. Code named Bulgari, the slate will feature an 11.6 inch IPS display with resolution of 2560 x 1440. Under the hood will be the next-generation Intel Core i3 Haswell processor and 4GB of RAM. Yes, you heard correctly (assuming you talk to yourself while you read), 4GB of RAM. 64GB of native storage is on board and can be expanded thanks to the microSD slot. The device features an 8MP snapper.
Perhaps this is one of the devices that was teased on a new video made by Acer for the COMPUTEX TAIPEI show. That show begins on June 3rd. We have no word on pricing or availability, which means we will be closely watching what happens in Taipei early next month.
