Here are some of the new features found on WatchOS 2 Beta 5
Apple WatchOS 2 is expected to be disseminated to Apple Watch owners this fall. Already, Apple is on the fifth beta version of the update. Some of the new changes aren't really big deals including the addition of a watch face that shows a time-lapse look at Paris. In the new beta, the multicolored version of the Modular watch face has a label that shows it to be the Multicolored option. Nice to have, but not earth shattering.
When playing music, you can shuffle tunes by clicking on the new Quick Play button. For those Apple Watch users who need more than 15 seconds to view the screen after waking up the timepiece, you can now arrange to have the display stay on for 70 seconds. Another change now puts an icon on the screen when the data from a workout is being captured by the timepiece.
WatchOS 2 beta 5 can be installed on the Apple Watches belonging to members of the Apple Developer Program from the Developer Program website. Keep in mind that some of the new features available on this, or any other beta version of the OS, might not be 100% perfected yet.
