HTC meetups are among the best occasions for phone geeks to get together as the Taiwanese phone maker is throwing fun parties and giving away handsets, but this September 1st meetup scheduled across four European countries promises more:
“It’s been a while since we last met, so we thought that we’d invite you to come party - and most importantly see what’s next.”
Accidentally, that date coincides with the rumored upcoming announcement of the HTC Puccini, the company’s first 10-inch tablet. HTC has reportedly sent out invitations to the press for a September 1st event, possibly part of IFA in Berlin. Interestingly one of the meetups is scheduled to happen in that exact German city, kicking off at 8pm local time. Don’t take our assumption about the HTC Puccini getting officially unveiled around then as anything more than a guess, though, as the company hasn’t made anything official.
The other three meetup locations are the UK, France and Spain. If the HTC Puccini is indeed the device, all rumors point to a 10.1-inch screen and a dual-core Qualcomm chip clocked at between 1.2GHz and 1.5GHz. It’s also expected with an 8-megapixel camera, but also with support HTC’s Digital Pen with HTC Scribe. If you live in any of those European cities you can reply now at the source link below to confirm that you'll be there.
