HTC One (M8) in red and pink coming to the UK
First the good news – the rumored pink and red variants of the HTC One (M8) are now official, and they look beautiful, we must say. What's more, they're going to launch pretty soon, in just a couple of weeks. As for the not-so-good news, it appears that the availability of these two gorgeous color options will be quite limited, as much as we wish it wasn't so. The red HTC One (M8) will be an O2 exclusive. Pre-orders will go live on August 5, and the phone is scheduled to arrive in stores on August 7. As for the pink HTC One (M8), it will be available exclusively at Carphone Warehouse. The retailer will start accepting pre-orders on July 25, and the phone should be in stock on August 7. Customers buying the latter will be treated to a free HTC Dot View case.
As one can probably tell, the red and pink HTC One (M8) are identical on a hardware level to the smartphone variant that we know already, with a 5-inch, 1080 by 1920-pixel display, a quad-core Snapdragon 801 SoC, an UltraPixel camera at the back, and a pair of stereo speakers at the front. The two new color options are also retaining the high-quality metal construction that the HTC One (M8) is known for.
