HTC Desire EYE to launch November 7th as an AT&T exclusive
AT&T announced today that it will launch the HTC Desire EYE on November 7th. Exclusive to the carrier in the U.S., the handset features a 5.2 inch screen with specs that nearly match the manufacturer's flagship HTC One (M8). The major difference is with the back and front-facing cameras, both of which will contain a 13MP sensor and a dual-LED flash.
The HTC Desire EYE will feature a polycarbonate build, and will be priced at $149.99 with a signed two-year pact. Sans contract, the phone is priced at $549.99. The model on the AT&T Next 18 plan is $0 down, with 18 monthly payments of $22.92. On the AT&T Next 12 plan, the handset is $0 down, with 12 monthly payments of $27.50.
Those buying the Desire EYE will also get $50 off the price of an HTC RE Camera, which is the manufacturer's new periscope shaped action camera. AT&T plans on accepting pre-orders for the rugged camera on November 7th, with the device expected in AT&T Stores beginning November 21st. The carrier will be asking $199 for the HTC RE Camera, and $149 from those purchasing an HTC Desire EYE.
