Git Gud! Dark Souls-like game Lords of the Fallen coming to Android and iOS on February 9
CI Games, publisher and developer of the controversial Lords of the Fallen for the PC and consoles, has just announced more details about its plans to bring the franchise to mobile platforms.
The Polish studio confirmed late last year that it's working on a mobile game, but it did not say when it will be released. Today, CI Games announced Lords of the Fallen would be available for purchase in the App Store and Google Play for $9.99, starting February 9.
The formula embraced by CI Games for the mobile version of Lords of the Fallen is that of a “tapping simulator,” something that fans of the franchise might not like. However, this is not actually a port of the PC/console game, but a completely different title in the Lords of the Fallen universe.

The studio says the mobile game mixes swipe-based 1-on-1 combat with mechanics that should be familiar to RPG fans. Players can choose one of the three heroes available (warrior, cleric, rogue), each with its own combat style and skills.
Lords of the Fallen comes with a crafting system that will allow players to create weapons, armors and amulets from the materials picked up during their adventures. It's also worth noting that the game includes 60 weapons, 15 amulets, 30 monster types and 12 bosses spread across 12 creepy locations.
